The Glendale office proved to be a full day, too. No chance to get in, get out, and nobody gets hurt. So, no time for the Getty. Dammit. I guess I'll have to make a special trip out. Foo.

And now, I must prepare to board my beloved flight home. Back to my comfy bed, my cats, my regular duties

In other news, George Bush bestowed medals of Freedom Loyalty to George Tenet, Tommy Franks, and Paul Bremer. Afghanistan is currently the largest distributor of heroin, and still deeply unstable. bin Laden is still free, Iraq is in shambles, and far from stable, our intelligence that got us into this war was fucking faulty, and, oh, I don't need to go on. Needless to say, a huge, steaming mess was left in the wake of these three medal recipients.

I'm home, and happy to be as such. Now to make some dessert for tomorrow's potluck. But before that, I must go to the store.

I love being home

I'm sipping some of the delicious holiday red modeleccentric, taogrl, and I brewed o'er a month ago. I'm watching Spiderman 2 and sending out some emails and whatnot. I need to finish decorating for christmas, now that my entertainment center is up.

This week promises to be busy: helping mom with a few things, attending a soiree chez modeleccentric, and then bottling my Imperial Stout on Sunday.

The Rum Cake is in the oven, the glaze is made...

It smells good.
