Here's a birthday cake for the rat-lover in your life.

In other news, I am trying the evaluation copy of MyDvd which allows TivoToGo users to make dvds out of their Tivo recordings. It does not prompt you for a password once you burn it to dvd. it seems to take a while. So it's going to be one of those overnight projects for your computer.

Now to decide what to do with my day.

SNL moments

"A swiss beer manufacture has come out with a new beer designed specifically for homosexuals: Queer Beer. They are hoping that it performs better than Mike's Hard Bi-curious Lemonade."

That's a little gift to all you Mike's Lemonade fans out there. ;-)

Just past noon

I have successfully managed to:
-Get out of bed
-Bathe
-Make brunch
-Clean up the kitchen
-Mess up the kitchen (see brunch)
-Toss a load o' clothes in the laundry

I have not managed to get out of my bathrobe, yet. I'm still sipping coffee and trying to decide what I want to accomplish:

-More reading "Case for a Creator"
-Some writing
-Make some big dinner type thing that lasts through out the week: Spaghetti Sauce is a good candidate.
-Folding laundry
-Goofing around with my camera

Today's brunch involved mining what I had in my fridge:
-sauteed canadian bacon, onions in a spray of olive oil
-some basil and garlic (I used Trader Joe's fresh frozen cubes of garlic and basil...very handy.
-two eggs beaten with a little bit of milk
-a little bit of of cheddar cheese on top
-a slice of sourdough wheat toast with a little lemon honey on it.
-washed down with some Mizner Estate coffee beans, roasted by Boca Java.

First off, did anyone else see "American Dad" on Fox after the Thuperbowl? It was hilarious. I look forward to more shows of that nature.

Second, Blockbuster is starting it's online mail service for dvds. A friend here claims they are slower than Netflix. I'll say here that Netflix will remain my dvd provider of choice. Their service has been excellent, and they've never altered the content of their movies to be more "family oriented".
