Airport Express
Jun. 3rd, 2005 11:38 pmI installed an Airport Express in my living room. So far, it's broadcasting music from my computer into my stereo quite wonderfully. I'm very stoked.
A few notes on installation:
1. Though it says you can install set up the airport express on your windows box, I did not have an easy time doing that. The program kept telling me I should let windows manage my wireless network, but there really wasn't a way to do that. Perhaps the problem was that I was trying to install this on a box not using a wireless connection. It was not picking up the network.
2. Since my Mac is on the network wirelessly, and since it's a Mac, installation was like butter on the ibook. and now the Airport Express works just fine.
Now to practice drums before I get to bed.
