I'm a wee bit frazzled today. I left my cell phone at home, and work is full of work that makes my head hurt.
In other news, I made buttercream fondant (aka rolled buttercream). "They" ain't a whistlin' Dixie. Rolled Buttercream is shinier. Arguably, I think greasier is the better term for it. I colored it lavender. It is supposed to cure for two days, but I only let mine cure for one. so far, it appears to be holding up. We'll find out if my hurried nature will cause me problems. But, it looks pretty nice. Tonight is the last cake decorating class, and I shall wash my hands of cakes, for the most part. Thrifting was a bit of a bust last night. I still have a few basic components for Umbridge's costume. I won't be dressing up too much; it will be the attitude that will be key, I think. But I need a few more gaudy accessories.
