Saturday's Report
Nov. 19th, 2005 09:42 amShower. Check.
Respond to sundry emails. Check
Ground coffee, boil water, toss in french press. Check, check, check.
Practice Drums. Not just yet.
When I woke up this morning, Charlie Rose was on the PBSYOU station. He was interviewing the Dalai Lama. Now I'm not sure when this interview actually took place, but I wonder what it would be like to a bar or restaurant after an interview with the Dalai Lama.
A casual acquaintance might ask, "How was your day?" And then I could say, "It was alright. I had a chat with the Dalai Lama."
The cats know when I'm going into the drawer where I keep the cat toys. When I'm going in that same drawer for other things, they don't seem to care. But they know the "cat toy retrieval sound".
And now a vigorous game of toy mouse hockey is being waged in my kitchen. Soon, the mouse will be launched under the fridge or the stove, and Sascha will be found supine on the kitchen floor, pining for the mousie.
