Lost cause
Jun. 11th, 2006 10:50 pmWell, my attempt to upgrade my DirecTivo has been fruitless thus far. I'm stuck at what was the simple part: formatting the drive. I can't seem to get my system to see the image on the cd rom. I did the same thing as I did last time. The same system. But this time, bupkis. I might try to see if I can try a system at work.
What a bummer.
Well, I'll work on it later.
Today was a full day. Worked for 4.5 hours. Then went to a little gathering of friends who I had not seen in a long time. P and Y have a cute little one year old boy. C and J's little L is 2 and a half. She's shy, but adorable.
I managed to inhale some nasty dust during today's travails. Once this renovation is complete, I'm really hoping the dust goes down, and this cough-inducing drainage goes away.
I have completed watching Season 1 of "24". Now to start on Season 2. What sublime crack it is.
Incidentally, there's a piece of equipment in the new cafeteria. The company that makes it is Cleveland. That's right. There's a Cleveland steamer in the kitchen at work. I wonder which came first, the offensive reference, or the kitchen equipment?
