(no subject)

So...Saddam is on a hunger strike. He's in the hospital on a feeding tube.

I don't know if I feel too badly about that...

It is done

I have spent the weekend being an utter slug in reality. In gamespace, however, I've been quite productive. City of Heroes and Villains have been my main focus this weekend, to the exclusion of much else, minus laundry, drum practice and a few household chores. Oh yes, and the normal Friday BBQ was attended.

I can take a break from that mischief, now. I have brought Miss Redd the Defender up to 22, Ms. Objectivist to 13, Major Major up to 11, and a new Villain, Mistress Lavender up to level 8. All told, 14 levels were acquired in total.

Now I will cease the game for a wee bit and continue to my regularly scheduled life already in progress.

While I do that, I'll be re-watching one of my favorite movies, "Pride and Prejudice" (the recent version).

The scene where Darcy and Liz have a row while he expresses his love for her and his desire to marry her is fantastic. They each give as good as they get, she tears him a new hole (in his heart), and still both want to kiss each other.

I'm a sucker for those scenes.

Okay. Time for other things.
