Here's my problem with main-stream media:

Is it really news that Alberto Fernandez in our State Department said the U.S. was arrogant and stupid in Iraq? Really? I mean, are you surprised. Would we look better if we denied it? And when I say this, I don't mean our troops. They are doing a fantastic job given the resources provided to them. I'm talking about our leadership.

With that, here's an interesting article to consider from the Journal of Foriegn Affairs.

Back...back in Sac. I was greeted by a throng of Dixie State football players. No they weren't greeting me specifically. They were vacantly churning about the concourse.

Luggage retrieval and the drive home progressed smoothly.

I have a drum lesson in an hour and a half, and then the rest of my day is my own. Some groceries are due to be retrieved, some laundry, some cuddling of my little predators.

I accidentally left one of my nice little multi-tools in my carry on this morning. My other one was broken during the assembly of the computer kiosks yesterday. I might add that it was broken in a very odd fashion that surpasses my ability to describe it. Well, I could describe it, but it would take me too long.

First order of business while snuggling the kiddies and practicing drums was to watch Friday's episode. Wow. Thank goodness.
