Attention DirecTV customers who have not yet watched Dexter...but were curious

According to Whedonesque, DirecTV is offering Dexter on channel 101 every night at 8pm until Dexter's series 2 starts up.

Mind you, this only appeals if you don't have Netflix or similar.

So yes, I highly recommend Dexter.

Michael Greenstone, a professor of Economics at MIT, performed a statistical analysis to determine if the surge in Iraq has been successful or not. His goal is to provide an objective analysis using data from numerous sources. The conclusion is mixed. In terms of casualties of civilians and soldiers, there's an improvement. In terms of economic factors, there is a decline.

One would think that economic improvements would not happen simultaneously with the improvements for the civilians, etc.
