Merry Christmas!

Oh, I'm tired.

But things are good. My brother was up and at 'em at 8am, and I got up to chat with him and made some tea and coffee. Then I set about to making the sweet potato casserole for today's larger family gathering that we'll leave for in a few hours.

I could stand a nap.

Last night went well. No family strife. I caught my mother trying to recount seedier moments in our family history to Siobhan. I'm fairly sure she's heard it before. So I broke it up and we opened presents. All was well; we got some neat stuff. Mom bought me a backup camera for my car. That should be fun to install.

John loves A Christmas Story as much, if not more, than I do. We've been watching bits of that over the past day.

He loves his Christmas music, too. He's a big cutie.

Everyone seemed to love my dinner yesterday. It all worked fabulously.
