One day more left in Ol' Blighty, and off to gay Pay-ree.

The past few days have been a blast. The production of Les Mis pissed me off, 'cause they took one of my favorite songs out, and truncated it. It's Gavroche's song. It's a great tune.

Still, it was good.

Museums were fantastic. Bars were fantastic.

We met a gorgeous guy from Jersey.

Today, we hit the British Museum. It truly is a fine recording of the history of human kind. I was moved by the whole display. Let's forget the fact that some of the stuff might have been acquired under ill-gotten means, but to be able to see it all in one place is amazing. I saw the Rosetta stone, for crying out loud. I saw parts of the Parthenon, Egyption statues, currency, the Lindow Man, a prehistoric skeleton. Artifacts from Yemen, from biblical times.

I was getting emotional, looking at what humanity has produced over the years. Conceiving of the dedication, the suffering, the strength and cleverness required to make these items with tools that aren't nearly as convenient as today just blew my mind.

After our museum wanderings, we had high tea. Num! We also caught a fabulous pair of flamenco guitarists. Oh...the beauty coming from their adroit fingertips. Were their wives not present, I might have "rushed 'em".

Tomorrow, it's the London Eye and Paris
