Oct. 18th, 2002 09:44 pmOne night in bangkok makes a hard man humble, and one night in Paris makes a hard man.
Still having tons of fun, and being bowled over by beauty both of the human variety, and of the historical buildings here. It seems like an eternity since I left home, though, and I miss my kitten, who will probably be bigger than I remember when I see him.
Since my last post, what have I done? I can't remember.
Here's what we've done the past few days:
-Versaille and its gardens.
-Musee D'Orsay
-Centre Pompidou (boop boop bee doo)
-Musee de L'Assistance Publique
-Lots of walking
Other:
-While I haven't seen any french men urinating, I've smelled 'em.
-The men with accordian count is up to 11. Ms Tao and I have a bet for dinner at Zelda's. I low-balled it using a current running average of 1.3 accordian players per day. We can only see two more between now and sunday for me to win. Ms Tao bets 15 will be seen in total. I was nervous, as we saw two alone this morning. However, since then, we've seen a bunch of violin and trumpet players. Phew! I have a feeling I'm buying dinner, though.
-Radioactive Cats!
-saw a man who looked like he was dragged across the pavement today. He asked me for a cigarette. I said no and fled.
