I woke up around 8am, thanks to my little predators. Maximus in particular decided my legs were the "Enemy of the Minute" and pounced upon them with such vigor that I had no choice but to surrender.

Mom is over. I made french toast, canadian bacon, with a side o' strawberries. The french toast is key: the leftover custard from creme brulee was utilized. It was soo delicious.

Who knows what the day brings for us yet.

Indeed we are: A return to La Nuit, et a nice sleep and a the beginnings of a Hemingway Weekend. The custard is in interesting touch, I think I must do that at some point when the weather cools........
