I'm not sure I can present this whole weekend in an orderly fashion, but I shall essay a recap.
First, tis time for a Bad Gothic Poem, thanks to Voltaire and his book:

Wretched is the core of my existence.
Unhappily I walk through the strange reality
Until childhood fears shred me of my turmoil.
Demons, demons, demons.
Thou art my annihilation.

First, Day the Fourth:

The Dragon Ladies of the Pink Palace ([livejournal.com profile] reannon, [livejournal.com profile] ariedana, and [livejournal.com profile] kellinator and myself) awoke to a maid attempting to lay seige to our room. This set off a chain reaction of alertness as we remembered we all had places to be and parking to pay. We peeled ourselves out of bed (each day seemed to get a little harder, in a way) and gathered our wordly possessions. [livejournal.com profile] ariedana had to head home with [livejournal.com profile] libidoergosum, so we said our farewells.

First order of business was to attend Elonka's session on uncracked codes. Getting into Cryptography might be fun. I shall start to dabble.

Then it was time to attend [livejournal.com profile] reannon's reading of some of her short stories. About four other people who didn't know her showed up, and that's a good thing.

After that, [livejournal.com profile] reannon and I had to rush off to our respective planes. So then we said our farewells to the mighty [livejournal.com profile] kellinator. The world became a quieter place, as I no longer had someone around to ask me, "Are you my mommy?" anymore. *sigh* I hope [livejournal.com profile] reannon made it home safely. :-)

I also hope [livejournal.com profile] ariedana is having a huge blast tonight. :-)

Other Recaps:

So, thanks to the Dragon Ladies, I managed to meet a lot of cool people. [livejournal.com profile] vernard and [livejournal.com profile] zorathenne are an adorable pair of people as well superb and generous hosts. Their friends Derrick and CJ were delightful. Derrick is the spittin' image of Tim Curry. And since I love Tim Curry, he was fun to gaze at. There were tons of other people there, but I have to remember all their lj nicknames, first. They really know how to make a gal regret she lives in California.

[livejournal.com profile] dslartoo was also quite cool. I happened to end up tailing him on a Dragonlance 20th Anniversary panel. By accident, I caught the tail end of Sunday night's ARTC show, "The Menace from Earth". What I saw of it was fantastic. Had I known about those shows beforehand, I would have made a point to attend them in their entirety. Radio shows are fantastic fun. It just goes to show you, there are so many things for everyone at Dragon*Con.

It was a grand time. I am quite honored to have met all these wonderful people. Experiencing [livejournal.com profile] kellinator's snark first hand was good clean fun.

Tangent: did I actually say that Ann Coulter was Satan's abortion? Yes, I think I did.

Ann Coulter

That's much more creative than what I've been calling her -- another word that starts with a "c." Methinks I'll be swiping that one for all future references. :)

Sure! Praise the Lord and pass the insults!

*snap* I forgot to crank call you this weekend from the con. You should have gone. :-)

Damn! We were going to crank-call him at 2 a.m. from some loud party and pass the phone around, weren't we? Rats.
