Sep. 7th, 2004 02:57 pmThe Dental appointment was suitably mundane. I ran some errands and then stumbled back home. I've got some homework to do for my evening class on Thursday. I thought I would take care of that today. This evening, when it cools down, I'll do some forced marching jogging.
The evenings should be somewhat taken for the rest of the week. A mental review of my schedule reveals the following:
I'm glad I took today off.
The evenings should be somewhat taken for the rest of the week. A mental review of my schedule reveals the following:
- Wednesday: Wine-tasting at Ink with
taogrl. - Thursday: class
- Friday: After Hours at Fairytale Town. This event is to support the Sacramento Emergency Housing organization. I pay $45 and then proceed to sample foods and beverages from a number of delicious restaurants, wineries and micro-breweries around the Sacramento Area. Not a good night for a diet. Then, after I get suitably soused, I will attempt to pitter patter across the Crooked Mile. Note that Fairytale Town is normally a haven for children. This charity event turns it into a whimsical venue for adults. The Crooked Mile is as accurate as it is inaccurate. It's crooked, but it's not a mile.
- Saturday I go to San Francisco with my friend Sven. He wants me to accompany him to see the Lion King. After that, we have dinner at the Stinking Rose (Yes, they do season their garlic with food!).
I'm glad I took today off.
