I woke up this morning with both cats sleeping next to me. One against my stomach, one against my legs. The affect, in addition to being warm and cute, was that I was pinned in bed. Wearing warm bed clothes with a reasonably high friction coefficient, compounded by my brain being the battleground between slumber and alertness, made for a difficult time getting out of bed.

Normally, when I move in bed, the cats might get a little skittish and move out of the way. But no. They were little fur-lined bricks of snuggling. I had to lift one up and move him over in order to make my egress.
