I was in a chipper mood tonight. Now I feel hyper and indignant.

Perhaps it was the coffee I had this morning. The two -cups too much coffee. Then I caught the Daily Show and the clips of Senators defending Condoleeza Rice.

Oh, what crap. Kay Bailey Hutchinson's defense of Rice was so sad, it's ridiculous. Despite the crappy job she did as National Security advisor, Kay thinks it would be unfair to judge Rice's performance as the NSA. And then Stewart mentioned the quote that comprises my subject line.

Sometimes it's just frustrating to watch our government tear this nation down.

Four more years of this crap genuinely scares me. Can't we have a nationwide recall before then?
