syreene brought this article to my attention, and while I'm sure the gentlemen being quoted probably would not have made this quote had he been intelligent or educated, it still amazes me. I should take it with a grain of salt, but it annoys the snot out of me.
I'm sitting here with a runny nose of righteous indignation.

"We've been attacked by the intelligent, educated segment of the culture," he said, adding that the school board's declaration is just a first step.
"It took 30 or 40 years to eliminate God in school, it will take probably 30 or 40 years to get him back. You take a little step first, a little bite, then another little bite and another," said Steve Farrell, a nursery keeper, who dreams of the return to prayer in class.
I thought God was everywhere? I didn't know he has been eliminated...in school.
You would think if your religion is so strong and powerful, you wouldn't need to pray in the classroom.
Oh, and if you take the time to study, you won't need to pray in order to raise your grade.
