Cake class

Tonight was the first cake class in which we decorated our cake after learning some new techniques. Roses come in 2 more weeks. Next week we do clowns. I don't foresee myself doing clowns in the future. But hey, it might come in handy.

Now, I will show you this second cake, but first, you must know the audience for whom this cake is intended. We've got three coworkers from three of our other offices coming in to work hard this weekend for a move we have. So, I am welcoming them with this personalized cake.



Of course, I forgot the comma, which I am about to remedy.

...that looks pretty good! They sell pre-made sugar stars at the grocery store that aren't as nice-looking as those are. Good for you! Did you trace cookie cutters, use a stencil or what?

So fun to see your progress, too. Can't wait to see your roses. :) How long is the class?

I used a star cookie cutter to make an impression on the top, and then filled it in with color. This class has two more sessions, but there are two other levels offered that I'll probably take.
