The Annual White Elephant Gift Exhange

Tomorrow is time for the annual White Elephant Gift Exchange and Potluck.
For the potluck item (for which I am listed as "Mystery Meal" on the sign-up sheet at work) is Shepherd's Pie. I used real Shepherds!
(Que Sweeney Todd Music)
Well, not really. This reminds me: at the pet store tonight while waiting to pay for my pet-related purchases, a woman rushed into the store behind me, asking my clerk if the store had anymore bunnies. I turned around to say, "No, I'm afraid I ate the last one," when I saw that she had an adorable little girl with her. She did not appear old enough to appreciate or comprehend the sick joke I was about to let flee from my lips. So, I held that one in.
Anyway, back to Shepherd's Pie. I used this recipe, with some modifications. Instead of garlic powder, I sauteed the ground beef with crushed garlic. When I added the onions, I also added about a cup of red wine. When I whipped the mashed potatoes, I added some bleu cheese. Instead of beef gravy, I used a mushroom gravy packet. It smells pretty good, so I'm hoping it shall come out tasty.
For the White Elephant Gift Exchange, I am giving the gift of Alcohol, combined with cheesy thrift store gifts. Here's the run-down:

And now, for
I acquired two albums:
"The Heart-Warming Magic of Jim Nabors"
and
"The Guest Stars of the Hee-Haw Show"
I could not find a picture of either of these online. Neither of these albums are available in CD format. But Jim Nabors' website will have you know that this album made Platinum. Wow. My heart feels touched.
My goal for the beers was to find beers with fun names. I should have taken back the "Wee Heavy", and purchased the "Dirty Dick's" ale instead, but I find "Wee Heavy" so cute, I couldn't pass it up.
Alright, time to check on the pie.
