NPR is having their spring membership drive. I'm thinking of joining. Lord knows I've been listening to them alot. Now, the question is, do I want to shell out enough to get the 8 DVD set of New Yorker issues from 1925 to 2005.

I probably should go with the lesser membership.

Alas; we only get some parts of NPR when on the east coast, and don't tend to tune in when here.

Of course, with bedtime at 7 P.M. in the mountains, there isn't a lot to do BUT listen to the radio.

Is that a new icon? Freaky!

ANd, ever so reminiscent of Mom seeing the eye doctor today, too.

No, that's an old "eye"-con. I took it before and after I went to my eye doctor appointment a year ago. They dilated my puils during the exam. So I felt value in preserving that for posterity. :-)
