...this is the first time in a while I've had a malady serious enough to make a quick doctor appointment.

I suspect I have an ear infection, as the left side around my ear feels full of "stuff". Glands feel a bit swollen, hearing is slightly impaired. This dirty business started a bit on Saturday, reached an apex of sorts yesterday,and plagues me slightly today. Sadly, the rest of me feels perky, and ergo I am at work today.

But soon I shall leave to throw myself at the mercy of a learned physician.

That happened to me almost two weeks ago. My right ear all of the sudden became plugged up. Five days later, I decided to visit the doctor. Got antibiotics. I still have a bit of congestion but not enough to bother me anymore.

If you get to the point where you can't hear, try the Valsalva maneuver. Close your mouth and plug your nose and try to exhale. The pressure seems to help in clearing your eustachian tubes a bit.

Yeah, that's the problem. I can't do that. I'm very familiar with that approach for clogged ears. My eustacean tubes won't budge. :(

Weird! Today I was thinking it felt like an ear infection in MY left ear. Hurt when I chewed. But for me I suspect it's all because I am a neurotic she-beast with a case of stress-exacerbated psoriasis and I stick my finger in my ear too much. Added hydrogen peroxide tonight, should do the trick.

I should. The antibiotics have been acquired. 10 days of these pills should dispatch the demonic infection with ease!
