weaktwosWell, another late night out. Tuesday poker is always a treat.
I put 10 dollars into the game, walked away with 60 and two bits. Hot diggity. I managed to wrangle a few flushes tonight. Those were sweet!
Bink is going to accompany me to wine tasting this weekend. Whee!
He just burned me a copy of the latest Star Wars movie, too. Yahoo!
I brought chocolate covered strawberries for the boys tonight. They loved them. Yes, I'm a woman, and I love to feed the world.
Once again, I'm tired, but I don't want to sleep. But tomorrow is a huge day. I'll be helping to install a new server (taking care of the conversion of analog lines to digital), I have visitors from Home Office, and there are my normal duties.
Overall, life gives me reason to laugh heartily. And that's a good thing. But then, I take pleasure in both the tragic and the sublime.
My company got some bad press today. And I think we're in the wrong. I really hope this is just a bad spell, and not a sign of bad things to come. I'm deeply concerned, however, that our company is being run by evil money-grubbers who are fucking around with the bottom line, and not making choices that will serve us well in the end.
I hope I'm wrong. I hope it is I who is unwise.
