Date: 2007-04-02 09:55 am (UTC)Black Seminole here, from my grandmother's line =), and Dutch/Seminole (with a hint of French/Haitian) from her husband's line.
As for my father's line, as I haven't had contact with them in years, not too sure, but as my father's and my mother's families originate in almost the same area(s) of Florida, there's said to be Seminole there as well. Doesn't matter too much, as if I remember aright, they are matrilineal (sp).
