Ms Tao and I saw him play at the Plantation Coffee house tonight. His finger picking was rather good. He's travelling around the western U.S. in his van, getting as many gigs as he can.
He was a friendly guy. There were only about 10 of us who showed up to hear him. Shame on Elk Grove for not making a better turnout. During his break, he made a point to sit and chat with all of us, which was wise, and interesting. He has been playing guitar since he was 8, and he took a few years of music theory, and two years of classical training, in addition to his self-practice.
Furthermore, let me just say that repeaters are quite fun.
