Unfaithful, part II
May. 23rd, 2002 10:49 pmI don't know if I ever posted this on here, but there was a time when I was approached on yahoo chat by a guy who seemed rather worthy of meeting. He said he was single, loved bridge, seemed decent, etc. This happened a year ago.
I ended up seeing his photo. He's married to a coworker. But not a coworker I felt I could approach about her infidel hubby. I opted not to tell her, as this might cause drama at work (i.e., she might kill the messenger).
Well, she found out anyway! For, as I suspected, I wasn't the last woman he was going to try to pursue and meet. She found his emails to other women on his computer. Thank god it wasn't me!
I now feel that my choice not to get involved was a wise one. She found out on her own. For a long time, I felt guilty, like I should be obligated to reveal dishonesty. Well, self-preservation also has its merits.
