Ms. Tao and I are heading to Berkeley to see Cremaster 3. This culminates a fascination for this cycle that Ms. Tao has had since Paris.

It is a very esoteric movie, part of a series of 5, made by Matthew Barney. There is no dialogue, only music and imagery. Honestly, if I didn't read the synopsis, I would have no idea what was happening in the movie. If you are not up on your masonic lore, you might not either. But it is unique, to say the least. The Guggenheim shows it currently, and it is being played at various little art houses around the country.
