Sep. 30th, 2002 10:10 amWell, the weekend was rough, but mostly fun, and educational.
The scuba diving adventure is a long story. Let me just say that cold saltwater diving is probably not the best way to get start out if you aren't an avid beach/ocean/swimmer already. The extra buoyancy with the salt water and your wet suit is really frustrating, especially if you're already buoyant like me.
By the time you get down to the ocean floor, there's lots of cool stuff to see, but it wasn't quite worth the effort, the exhaustion, the struggle involved to get down there.
I still want to scuba dive again, but with a wet suit that fits better, and when I'm in better shape, or in warm water where I won't need a wet suit, and will therefore be less buoyant, and won't have to feel like I'm hefting a mack truck on my back when I head to the beach.
In other news, I was in a hurry to run and errand, and I set some cds on my car for a moment...yet forgot about them. Yes, I drove off with cds on my roof. I have about 4-5 CDs I need to replace. Dammit.
On a cute front, Sascha was a total cuddle monster last night. It's so cute to see him follow me to bed and flop his head on the pillow right next to me with squinty contentment.
He spent the whole night sleeping right next to me, sleeping on his back, with is paws resting on my arm.
Now to get out of my lazy haze, and head off to work and run some errands.
