Less than a week until Europe!!! Wahoo!
My friend BabyDoc gave me a souvenir from China. It is a necklace with a jade pig. That is my chinese zodiac sign. It also brings good luck.(Yes, that also means I too bring good luck--make a note of that, kiddies!)
I'm quite thrilled about this token of friendship, as I soon will be headed abroad to strange lands. If my plane gets hijacked, I will simply pull out my necklace and say, "Look here, you filthy terrorist! I have a jade pig around my neck! This means it's springtime for me, and winter for you, asshole! Now find another plan to terrorize."
Surely he'll have no other recourse but to sit down and watch the in flight movie.
Meanwhile, I'm watching "Hoosiers". I loved this movie growing up. I remember drinking beers and watching this movie in a dorm room of some Mills College students. Fun times... fun times.
