Planets Made of Wood
Dec. 8th, 2002 09:26 pmYeah, why don't they make a sci fi action movie featuring a planet made of wood? It could feature a long-suffering, morose culture that suffers from excessive splinters in the feet.
Perhaps the shrubberies could be made of pipecleaners!
I am now settling in to watch Count of Monte Christo, perhaps I'll get in some guitar practice, as well.
Reminiscence of the weekend: some of the artwork featured at the Artist's Collaberative included paintings of asian ( I am not astute enough to recognize it as Japanese or Chinese or whatnot) character symbols. One stood for good fortune. The phonetic translation into it's particular native language was "Fuku".

The writer's group meeting tonight went well. Work was pretty productive.
Tomorrow: day one of Jury Dooty. We'll see what happens.
