I still am not sure about the Monopoly example. I didn't think the iPhone was a Monopoly. However, it stands to reason as indicated in the past, that Apple's prices will be cut or a replacement product with more features will be offered at the same price later.
So for those folks who feel cheated because of the price reduction: no one forced you to buy the iPhone early. You were overcome by toy lust and you hastily bought a product. If you weren't already upset over the price and costs of ownership, well, you're terrible with money anyway, and couldn't be trusted with the $200 you might have saved anyhow.
