Day in review
Jan. 11th, 2004 09:46 pmToday was a fine, relaxing day.
patricks gm'd another fine Call of Cthulu game at my abode. We were one party member short. The characters are:
Lucille Harrison-Beaton: my character, and an Archeology and History professor at Berkeley. Graduate from Miskatonic University.
Mary: an antiquities expert, and a woman with a good head on her shoulders.
William: a starving artist who will probably get us all killed.
Vinnie: a club owner with a heart of gold and a hip flask of endless drinking.
The fellow who played Vinnie couldn't make it this weekend, so the rest of us braved the worst Ferryboat in San Francisco. Really, can you blame us? It was late at night. We had no idea it was haunted. Anyway, we had to solve the mystery and change the fortunes of the people on the boat to prevent it from blowing it and us up in the process. Well, we don't know this for sure, but as soon as we prevented some yahoo from causing the ship to blow up, we landed in San Francisco.
Anyhow, it was good fun. My sanity levels fluctuated a bit during the process, and now my character probably will not take the ferry after dark.
After that, I spent the evening taking care of laundry and other stuff, including finishing Season 1 of Firefly and starting season 2 of Highlander.
Now to practice the drums.
