I'm going to be a sleepy wench again tomorrow.

It's late and I'm wired!

Oh, I lost a percent in body fat as of this morning. Wahoo!

I read more of "Wittgenstein's Poker" tonight. Reading of the history of Popper and Wittgenstein is interesting. Both from Vienna, one from a more humble family background, one from an obnoxiously rich family. Both Jewish, yet they were animated ideological adversaries. Anyhow, I'm only half way through it...we'll see what other tidbits lay in store...

*Squee!!*

It's official, while driving by the new shopping center near my house, the business that will be there are:
-Kohls (this I knew)
-Cost Plus World Market(this I knew)
-But this I didn't know...TRADER JOE'S is going in near my house!!! Yahoo! I've been very eager for this. TJ's wasn't fessing up where they were going to put the Elk Grove location. But now it's near my house!

Yay!

I'm playing with my ipod and my new Altec Lansing InMotion speakers expressly for the iPod. They are quite delightful. And they can get reasonably loud. I'm at work, however, so I'm not listening to it too loudly. I need to get books on tape on this beotch and I can "read" while at work. ;-)

I'm listening to the Breaking of the Fellowship from the Lord of the Rings Soundtrack. It clutches at my heartstrings. *sniff* I love that series, I do, I do!

I am moth. It is flame.

Today was a bit of a pisser, work wise. I got things done, but I have more to do. I'll be working tomorrow morning before my drum lesson.

Tonight's first stop: the gym. The second stop will be to take a friend out for dinner to celebrate her birthday. I'm taking her to the Mandarin. It's a great chinese restaurant right next to Whole Foods here in town. I'll be rolling off my diet wagon for a night. It shouldn't be too bad, since I'll have mostly veggies and meat. However, I'm a-hankerin' for their crab wontons.

Remember that intra-cartoon nutritional cartoon back when we (I) were(was) kids(a kid)? Was that a little cowboy cell of our bodies that ran around having a hankerin' for a hunk of cheese and extolling the virtues of protein? I loved those bits.

Dinner was good...ooff. Honey Walnut Shrimp Rocks my world.

You know, I think it's dangerous to listen to groovin' music while in the women's lockerroom bathroom. Because, before you know it, you're listening to Lavert's "Cassanova" and you're doing some exotic seated toilet dance. And then you realize that Sweet Charity never had this in mind when she sang, "If my friends could see me now." Well, not you, of course. Me. I'll fess up. And what if some drowsy gym bunny did see my distinctive shoes doing the mutated form of "riverdancing" from under the stall?

Bah, no big deal. So I finished my toilet-esque tasks and shuffled out to the sink to dutifully banish bacteria from my hands via a thorough, soapy scrubbing. However, the angle of my palm relative to the soap dispenser was such that a torrent of soap ricocheted off my palm and back onto the bathroom mirror. Three dollops of viscous and basic matter dripped down the reflective surface. Pondering the rarity of said soapy calamity, I acquired a paper towel to wipe most of it away.
