A few things:

-Today I had the pleasure of sharing the freeway with the perfect example of why young males have higher insurance rates: a car full of young, ball cap wearin' men in a beatup Chevy Cavalier. First, they nearly ran into me trying to do an "emergency merge" into my lane. Signal ahead of time? Plan your merge? What?

Of course, the young male driver had a heck of a time following the car behind him.

-The city where I live(Elk Grove, CA) is getting national mention thanks to the fellow who is challenging the Supreme Court today on the inclusion of "under God" in the Pledge o' Allegiance. Elk Grove is where he lives as well. Now we'll have a reputation as being yet another crazy city from California. ;-)

Work wasn't too bad today. A few meetings, a bunch of trouble tickets. All is well, though.

Tonight features a trip to Costco, a visit to the gym and the Naked Lounge with taogrl.

Lots of interesting things bouncing around my noggin today. Alas, no energy to write it all down.
