What you would have overheard at the salon

Somehow my hair stylist and I got on the topic of gall bladders.

I was reminiscing about high school biology and disecting frogs. I always remember the little gall bladder. I told my stylist, "It was pretty cute, as far as innards go."

That comment promptly scared away one of the assistants.

So I came home and did an image search on gall bladders. I found a sea turtle gall bladder.



Geez. Pretty cute as far as innards go, eh? Gads, what was I thinkin'?

*yawn*

Well, I best get up and at 'em.

I woke up around 8ish, but decided I would like to sleep in a bit more. I awoke a few hours later and popped on the telly. Somehow, my tv was poised on the Bravo channel. A show called "The Long Way Around" was on.

I've not heard of it before. But it stars Ewen McGregor. Since I would watch him reading the phonebook, my attention was locked in. He's rugged, he's Scottish, he's on a motorcycle. Meow.

The rest of the day? Not so sure. But part of it involves brewing Czar's Tar at Brew it Up.

Man, housework is soooo overrated.

Brunch has been manufactured in the simple little complex of domestic industry that is my kitchen. Today's feastette: A spinach mushroom, canadian bacon scramble with a little white cheddar on top. Served with a leftover blueberry muffin from my forced pastry purchasing experience on Friday. I threw the muffin in the oven to soften it up. It's grandly good.

Austin City Limits is playing in the background in the living room. Polyphonic Spree is on.

Some chores have been completed:
-taking out the trash
-changing the kitty litter. Yes, I cherish these times. This is the weekly moment of truth with pet care (barring more serious medical conditions).
-first load of laundry.

I'm home, and a wee bit fluthered.

modeleccentric, taogrl, and I brewed an Imperial Stout. It shall be ready before New Year's Eve. Hallelujah!
