'Twas the Night Before Christmas Eve
Dec. 24th, 2004 12:56 amWoof. I'm tuckered.
I've prepped the stuffed mushrooms for our family's Christmas feast. All that need be done now is bake 'em until they metamorphose into their magically meltilicious state.
I'm making the pie crusts now, and mum and I shall bake tomorrow afternoon.
I must remember to bring:
Now I just have Christmas gifts to wrap. Me thinks I shall do that in the morn. I figure I can do that quickly enough. A few of the gifts will involve me leaving the big boxes in the trunk and wrapping a "certificate" with the true contents of the gifts. That will make it easier, and trickier. If I can swing sneaking them in the house before unwrapping, that would be the super score.
Maximus the wonder kitty has the late night cat crazies, currently. He is Don Kittyhote, and he is fighting windmills. Well, if windmills looked like sissel scratching posts. Now he has pattered off in a half-slink half-trot to parts unknown in my domicile. Ah, and after running into something, trilling off a meow, he has trotted back. Little does he know that Sascha is waiting to pounce upon him.

taogrl. She made me a quilt! I'm quite excited about it. It's no easy task to make a quilt, as far as I'm concerned. It's unique and wonderful, and immensely honored to have it! We had a wonderful conversation, as well, which is worthy of further deliberation.
After coffee, giftings, and fine conversation, I trundled off to Bel Air to acquire some Southern Pecan coffee beans at my mother's request. Next, home to feed the li'l predators. (and now Don Maximus Kittyhote has returned from his quest to receive cuddles.) Then, I ran off to the UPS facility to make my 9:30pm will call appointment to obtain my progenitor's Christmas Gift from Dell. Dude, I got her a dell!
Anyone looking for a Canon Digital Rebel SLR? Dell is selling them for $750 with rebates. Normally, they are one thousand dollars. Now to go finish my cooking so I can let the sugarplum fairies use my brain for a dance hall.
