I know of some folks who reference the site Junkscience in order to validate their views that the environment is not at risk, etc. While bounding around on the internet last night, I happened upon this site, that discusses who exactly funds Junkscience.

And here's the background of Steven J. Milloy, Junkscience's spokesmodel.

In other news, I was hoping to find "History on Trial" on audiobook last night, but alas, tis not yet to be. The idea that a) a historian claims the holocaust never happened and b) that other historians still respected the man and c) he sued a jewish woman for libel because she called him some names appropriate for a man who sympathizes with hate just fascinates me.

Everwood and Boston Legal were very good.

Things are about to go up in smoke in New York for Ephram's audition at Juliard.

Boston Legal touched on the torture issue in the form of a very good soliloquy by James Spader. Plus, Denny Crane has a son! That was a cute exchange.

Ahh, tonight will feature coffee with [livejournal.com profile] taogrl and packing for my trip to Texas. Moments like this make me realize I'm a homebody. At least if my only choice is to be flown to Texas for a week, yes, I'd rather be home.

This is most fortuitous, since I love this song by Dylan. The live performance I saw of it was phenomenal.

In other news, today has been a busy day. It included meetings, politics, and moving my cubicle to a new location (this was a planned move). I'm glad it's winding to an end. But first, a little more hawt troubleshooting action.

I should be packing, but of course, I like a good challenge that sleep deprivation provides. I did manage to get some things taken care of.

I had a pleasant evening with [livejournal.com profile] taogrl. She's doing the saintly duty of caring for my two lads. Hopefully all the furmen will get on splendidly this time around. Last time was apparently a bit nasty. But it was off to a bad start. I had a really hard time getting the cats in the cat carrier. Neither of them were in a mood to travel. This time, I plied them with good food, and then gave them lots of snuggles before unceremoniously shoving them in the cat carrier.

For the most part, the reintroduction went well. I think everyone left each other alone. Sascha and Max found areas to seek cover in.

I miss them, already. To think I consider myself unsentimental.

Six days abroad. Oy.

Okay, now to pack my goods.

Oh, and somehow, in a freak yawning accident, I've hurt the right side of my jaw somehow. It feels like a strained muscle, or something. It doesn't hurt except when I open my jaw wide to yawn. but even then, it's if I move my jaw from side to side. Odd. Hopefully I didn't just give myself TMJ, and it will heal up quickly.
