Tragedy

Something got horked up in my Tivo, and Veronica Mars did not get recorded. I am verklempt.

Okay, I am predominantly packed. Now to fall asleep so I can get up on time...I must leave for the airport by 7am.

I missed my flight out. Dammit.

I don't even want to talk about the cost of additional fare.
Needless to say, I think I could have flown to Europe cheaper.

Goddamn me. I'm so pissed at myself.

I'll forgive myself later, of course. But goddammit! What a waste.

Okay, I'm watching Veronica Mars...the episode I did not get on my tivo, but managed to acquire in special other ways.

Luuuucy, I'm home!

To what real love can do

Well, I'm here in Texas. Here are some noteworthy (in my opinion) facts about my day:
-In the "Fight Fire with Fire" category, after spending $400 on America West to get a new flight time guaranteed, I went to Best Buy and bought some dvds. But the net cost was only 10 bucks, because I used my gift certificates. I now own:
-Bubba Hotep
-Sweet Sweetback's Baaaadddasss Song
-I heart Huckabees
-Heat SE
-Sarah Mclachlan's Afterglow Live cd

-I successfully smuggled another pocket knife through security. It wasn't intentional, though, I forgot to pack it in my luggage. They scanned the purse twice, and still didn't tag me for it.

-My first flight was late to Phoenix, so, for the first time in a while, I ran in the airport. Furthermore, it felt good. :-)

And now, i'm in my hotel room, working away on php homework that is due Friday.

The ipod photo has been running frequently between noon and now, and the battery is still going. This is awesome!
