Recorded telemarketing calls at 8:30 in the morning? You must be fucking joking. In the last three minutes, I have imagined what these enterprising lumps of human detritus who own this business look like, and I have conjured up numerous inappropriate and yet Anne-satisfying fates for them.

It's too bad that telemarketing business owners don't have soft, attractive pelts. I could soooo support an annual Telemarking Business Owner hunt in Newfoundland.

Grrr.

Last night was great fun! I got over to M and T's at about 4pm and we started our band practice. We have a passable version of Major Tom (peter schilling's version), and Heart's Magic Man.

Mind you, there are miles to go before I'm truly happy with my drumming. A huge point for me will be when I can keep track of exactly where I am in a song. I still lose track easily, getting distracted by eighth and sixteenth notes.

We walked to the local store and acquired some spiced pork and prawns to make some soft tacos. Salsa and guacamole were involved, too. It was a delightful time.

I was definitely ready for bed last night, however. I was home by 11. Most days, I'm still ready to be awake. Not so last night.

Now I must bathe and prepare to head to Alameda.

Today turned out to be a long but enjoyable day. So good, I don't even want to take the time to go into detail, because I'm tuckered.

However, I came across this book in my travels:
"Endless Forms Most Beautiful: The New Science of Evo Devo and the Making of the Animal Kingdom" by Sean B. Carroll.

Awww yeah, we're getting closer and closer to understand how very reliable evolution is, folks.

You can read a review about the book here.

Goodnight, folks!
