Ahh, work is almost done. Today's theme was "hurry up and relax". I had a very busy morning, followed by a work-paid for afternoon at the Rivercats ball game. They lost, but the game was exciting. The day started out as overcast, but the sun came out midway through the game.
Yay! I got a redneck tan just in time for spring!
In other news, I must apologize for my ballsy comment on the poetry censorship post I made this morning. I read the article too fast, and confused the facts, and swapped political views for the players involved. In this case, the liberal professor had it wrong (at least based on the information presented in the article). What a pity, too.
Thanks to
eyow for pointing out my error.
As for the Anonymous poster who said:
"You did notice, didn't you, that it's the student who claims he's the conservative?"
I have this to say: Not only are you a coward for not identifying yourself in posting a response to my journal, but you ask stupid questions. Which is probably why you maintained anonymity. Of course I didn't notice that it was the student who claims conservatism. Otherwise I wouldn't have criticized the conservative guy for using his freedom of speech. Yeesh!
Yes, yes, I was wrong in my post, but I still stand among the vertebrates. You, ma'am or sir, give all those who assume the "Anonymous" identity a bad name!
Now, off to dinner with friends. I hope all have a good night!
