Jun. 11th, 2005 08:16 amAside from my normal smart ass behavior, what have I been up to in the past few days? Not a whole heck of a lot.
Cake decorating class was interesting, insofar as doing lots of different flowers is concerned. Let me tell you, Daffodils are a pain in the arse. Pain! High effort! Low reward! You will never see me decorate a cake with daffodils.
After class, we had dinner, and
taogrl came along to chat with us. She needs to do a comedy routine on weddings. Her tales of woe were hilarious.
Yesterday I had off. I took Sta Puft in for its 150k servicing. She's good to go for a long while, now. Because my dealership is 1.6 miles away, I took my car into the shop and walked home. It's a nice little jaunt. I got home, made some breakfast, and then went to run some more errands.
I had to go to my hair salon to deal with a problem with my charge card. They had charged me incorrectly initially, and then they didn't do the void properly. So I was charged twice. My hair appointments are not cheap. So, that was straightened out. Then I acquired my comics at Empire Comics; it's been a while since I could make it over there. So I have some reading to do!
I hit Guitar Center to ogle their instruments, then Fry's to look at some of their gadgets. Then I returned home. By the time I had lunch, I got news that my car was ready, minus the smog check. It appears my car broke the smog checker. Feh. I'll have to find a smog joint to test on Monday or Tuesday.
So, off I walked to pick up my car. I enjoy taking neighborhood walks. I should make more time for them. Except I hate drivers that are inconsiderate towards pedestrians.
I messed around with my musical instruments for a bit, then took care of some other things, made dinner, and watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkhaban. I love that movie.
