On the Food Co-op

I noticed on the food coop's site that July 9th is the orientation for becoming an "owner/worker" at the co-op. I think I'll sign up. I think it might be something interesting to consider.

I think I shall check out the Co-op this Sunday and look it over.

Well, I think a number of the reviewers on Songfight all have blogs. Some are offended by our song, me thinks.

Neverending Story

Last night I watched Neverending Story. I had acquired off Netflix, as I had never viewed it. I know I'm definitely spoiled on special effects, and I didn't buy into the story very well. Oh well.

In other news, I'm safely home. I got home shy of 8pm, walked to the store, acquired pizza fixins, and am preparing the pizza (pepperoni, whole wheat dough, artichokes, mushrooms, and pineapple), and have mixed myself a Rob Roy. Let the weekend begin!

Oh, you must be joking

patricks pointed this article out. Young Republicans are all gung ho about the war in Iraq, but seem to be "otherwise engaged" to actually participate in it.

Bill Maher also said it: if you support the Iraq war, go serve in it. There's a number of us who don't agree with it, and don't want to participate in it. But I'm amazed that the ones who support it so much don't want to help serve in it, especially since there is a need. Numerous articles have come out stating that the military is not reaching their recruitment goals. And yet young Republicans don't see a need for themselves to serve. Nice.
