Ugh. I feel so sluggish. Exhaustion is currently resting like heavy weights upon my brow. I sit here in the San Antonio airport, awaiting my flight home.

This week was an informative one, and I'm quite tired as a result. But the prospect of being home gladdens me considerably.

I hope y'all are having a marvelous Friday!

Traveling outside of California once again makes me appreciate the smoking ban in bars. In particular, sitting next to some leathery ol' Arizona Cowboy blowing smoke across my air supply makes me appreciate the prohibition of smoking in public businesses. *cough*

Over the past two weeks, Silent_and_Calm has apparently added and removed me about 5 or 6 times. Very odd. Especially since an initial perusal of this person's journal appears of a non-personal nature and this person does not comment on posts. Could this be some sort of advertising?

ETA: Ah, I found his FAQ. He just likes to keep adding and re-adding people (with some script adding friends of friends?). And if we don't like it, we're expected to ban him. I guess I know to ignore it, now. No worries.

The flight, brought to me by Southwest Airlines, was largely uneventful. Southwest has has two late flights in the past month for me. That's interesting.

Also, I'd like to say that my stay at the Marriott Residence Inn was pretty good, though both my coworker and I experienced something interesting. Whenever I leave my hotel room, I reflexively check the door to make sure it closes behind me. On one day, early in my stay, I tested my door. It did not automatically lock behind me. I opened it, closed it again, and it did not lock behind me. So I called the front desk, and informed them. And I took any key valuables with me to work that day.

The next day, the same thing happened to my coworker. That my friends, is interesting. I've never had that happen to me at a hotel before. Ever.

The cats are home, casing the joint, they are quite content. [livejournal.com profile] taogrl took grand care of them. To top it off, she made enchilada soup, and gave me some. Yes, folks, she took care of my precious little predators AND gave me dinner. Now that's sainthood, right there. The three miracles: taking care of my pets, fixing me dinner, and still liking me after all these years. Cough up the designation, Pope Benedict.

[livejournal.com profile] shimaera sent me this link via IM while I was away. Thanks, Misty! This is pretty darn funny. I wonder what the real interview was like? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjJYywFNbuw
