Are you ready for your sad/yet bizarre news of the day, folks?

Astronaut held on kidnapping charges.

They found a folding knife, a trenchcoat, rubber tubing, and some rope in her possession. But no astronaut ice cream or anti-gravity pens. The nerve.

This is a fight over another Shuttle pilot.

So wrong.

Nowak? Yes. Yeswak.

So, Jobs weighed in this morning on DRM and the future. I for one agree. My purchasing behavior is such that I'll buy iTunes when I'm desperate for a song. Otherwise, I'll buy CDS used or new via Amazon or used stores. So, should DRM be lifted on songs I may buy more songs online, since I could archive them and not worry about not being able to copy it off to create mix-cds, et cetera.

So, I'm curious what you would do if DRM was lifted. I've created a small poll. Feel free to comment if my survey is inadequate.

No, wait. No I wasn't. I was born daughter of Margaret, sister of John. That just doesn't flow... Anyway...

Simon and Garfunkel is on the box, I have finished dinner and some practical financial stuff for Firefly Games and Maximus has curled up on my shoulder.

Now, I think it's time for some tv action.

I SHOULD do some free weight exercises. We'll see if I do that. I really should.

First up, House, which has become a bit whacky with regard to character development.

I changed my journal style. I kinda like it. Will I ever get into journal styles enough to make my own or customize this one? Hell no!

Thanks to my contribution to KQED, I am now the proud owner of the entire New Yorker DVD Collection. I am pleased.

ETA: Whoa! It might take me as long as the New Yorker has been published to download the mag archives onto my computer. Phew! I'll see ya'll tomorrow when this finishes installing.
