PBS facing funding cut again!

So, Congress is looking at cutting PBS funding. I don't know about you, but I love the shows that PBS provides for us all.

So, there's two things I'll encourage you to do. First, donate to your local PBS station to help support their operation. Second, sign a petition that MoveOn.org is sponsoring to show your support, as well.

I saw a rainbow today

...and the Leprechaun hunt was on.

Sadly, the little fella lost me in a sea of green. The green from all the Starbucks shops in Sacramento, that is. I'm now drownly my pot o'goldless sorrows in a Cinnamon Dolce Soy Latte. So ends my short Leprechaun hunting career.

But seriously the sight of the rainbow filled me with a child-like glee. I love rainbows. I love the clouds that hover over my city after a good rain. I love the rain, period.

Given that, my spirits are quite good. Surprisingly good, since I have to work in less than an hour.

Time to read a little bit and face my work-related destiny this evening.
