Shindell Teaser

So yesterday and today I've been giving Shindell's new cover album, "South of Delia" a listen. He covers a song originally performed by the Band (written by Robbie Robertson). I really like Shindell's take on the song. Though the original is quite nice, too. You can find the lyrics here.

The song sounds understandably sad. Admittedly, I was unaware of the story of the Acadians who were forced from their homes by the British. One version of the story is told here.
