weaktwosSo, I'm kickin' it at home, loadin' up my new toy with tunes galore and watching Eminem's 8mile(I had missed the beginning earlier this week). Soon, I shall buy the iTrip and not need to put another CD in my car. Just the ipod, and my entire music collection.
Ms Tao and I went to dinner at the Bayou, a well reviewed bbq establishment. It was good stuff. Way too much food. You could share one meal and still be full. Especially if you order a side of cornbread. Boy, howdy! That's good stuff!
Then we hoofed it to the driving range to slap some balls. Since we're currently both dateless, that's more action than either of us have seen in a while. But seriously, I have a golf game tomorrow at the Black Oak Golf course. I haven't golfed with whitey in over a year, so it was time to practice.
She and I have delightful conversations. Should I get the promotion, I will miss her a lot. She's my hetero life partner, dammit!
Part of our conversation:
Her: I lost my favorite Parker Pen I've had since the 6th grade at a networking mixer.
Me: That sucks. You probably had part of your soul trapped in that pen.
Her: Waaaaah! I need my soul!!!!
