I'd like to give mad props to saintrigger and almjbs for giving me sweet birthday wishes. Bill and Ted references and SWG insults are the best!

The Ides of October are upon us! Fortunately, I do not know of any episode in history where a bunch of politicians gathered 'round to ice a powerful leader. That's for those March 15 people to deal with.

What shall I do on this grandest of days? Not a whole lot. This time last year, I was in Paris. Today, I am relaxing from work, and hanging out with my mom tonight. I think some "banging on my drum all day" will be involved.

This weekend, I have a big bbq birthday bash a bunch of us Librans are having. I may have another "born in October" gathering later, as well.

Last night, I partook of a brand of ale by the name of "Arrogant Bastard Ale". I enjoyed it. With a name like that, it simply had to be good. And it was. Ask for it by name, folks!

I also put in a late shift at work to take care of some other projects. I got home around 10:45pm. I did enjoy watching some Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
