I feel terrible about having said this to my friend Ms Tao tonight over coffee:

"We'll know our society has truly dived into the crapper when the new reality tv show is 'Joe Molester', and a bunch of children are vying for the affections of some old creep in exchange for college money."

That's what I get when talking about Average Joe and Michael Jackson's case in the same evening.
