Monday bits

-I'm thinking in bullet points.
-Last night someone asked me how Tomb Raider II was coming along and if it got any better. I answered, "Yes, it ended."

-There's an irc chat room I hang out in where a bunch of my friends in and around town lurk. One of my friends has a penchant for typing song lyrics in the channel. Heavy Metal song lyrics. In my opinion, without the rockin' music driving behind the lyrics, heavy metal songs are just really bad poetry. So with every line he typed, I added a smart ass comment related to the line. He didn't think I was funny. That's okay. But I'll tell you this, if you're typing out a heavy metal song that includes the line, "...I danced and I pranced...", be prepared for some special commentary, Anne-style.

Nay, good sir! I was never graced with the actual title of the song. Bruce Dickinson was the performer, I believe. The opening of the song promised some tale that was supposed to chill the narrator to the bone. He was in some forest doing some dance of the dead (which involved, as I've mentioned, prancing). Apparently, these dancing forest creatures were also from hell. You and I know, however, that nobody from hell prances. It's just not done.

No doubt. I sometimes do the lyric thing on IRC but not THAT often.

However I never get upset or tire of comments about it :)
